With increasing concern over green house effects and harmful chemicals in every day products, companies around the world are doing their part in reducing their carbon footprints and making products safer for consumers everywhere.
Sleep Craft Green Products
Sleep Craft has taken steps in reducing our carbon footprints as well.
We’ve introduced cleaner, safer, natural materials which are not only safer for the environment and the consumer but also last longer.
The longevity of our products reduces the amount of waste and bio products introduced into our environment thus making us a bit more green-friendly.
Sleep Craft Good Practices
Aside from using clean, natural products which promote durability and sustained comfort in all our products; Sleep Craft goes the extra mile with the following:
-
Recycling of excess material; foam, cardboard, fabric, paper and plastic (packaging).
-
Using Low-energy lighting.
-
Turning off lights and equipment during non-operational periods. (helps with the bills and the environment)
-
Setting thermostats to 78 degrees for air-conditioning and 68 degrees for heating.
Sleep Craft uses the following green products
-
Cotton: US grown and cropped; used for its breathability, resiliency, durability and natural properties.
-
Latex: US supplied, high quality Talalay product; used for its high resiliency, conformity & natural properties.
-
Bamboo fabric: natural, Anti-microbial, dust-mite resistant and breathable.
-
Cotton fabric: natural, hypo allergenic and breathable.
Soy based Foam:
Foam products are used in most products today and we’ve reduced our carbon footprint by introducing soy based foams for our mattresses that contain foam. These reduce the emissions in our product and make it safer for the environment and consumers alike.
Inherent FR barrier Materials:
In keeping compliant with FR regulations set forth by the government we use an inherent patented FR barrier which is atypical of the FR chemistry used in most mattresses. Its inherent properties make it safe both for the environment and for the consumer.
